The University of Évora is part of the National Network of Phd Schools, a cooperation network in the areas of Phds and research to promote the improvement of the quality of programs, through the joint definition of good operating and teaching practices.
This initiative represents a unique opportunity to promote contact between universities at the level of the 3rd cycle of studies and research, as well as to motivate the exchange of knowledge between higher education institutions.

The Institute of Research and Advanced Training is an organic unit of the University of Évora aimed at supporting research in order to ensure the quality of work carried out by research units, the assessment of scientific output and to coordinate its scientific activities with the education and advanced training system, in particular international three-cycle systems and Master degrees.
