University Pastoral Care

The University of Évora’s Pastoral Care (PUÉ) is a Department of the Archdiocese of Évora that offers pastoral and spiritual support to the academies situated within the Archdiocese’s geographical reach.

In addition to the daily mass celebrated at 7.15 p.m., spiritual guidance, talks and confession provided by a chaplain, an activity programme is available for students.

PHYSICAL SPACES

Espírito Santo Church :

Situated at Largo dos Colegiais
Mass is on Sunday, at 7.15 p.m.

Casarão:

Situated at Rua do Raimundo 48
Open from Monday to Thursday, from 3.30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Mass is at 7.15 p.m.
This is a meeting place where students can study and receive human and spiritual guidance. The hall has study rooms, group meeting rooms, conference rooms, kitchen, chapel and a patio.
Eight university students (the Caseiros, or “caretakers”) collaborate in this project, which is led by director Father Fernando Ribeiro, sj.
