Healthcare Services

Transitions and changes are par for the course, but not all experiences are good and they can affect our health. To provide healthcare to UÉ students, the Social Action Department offers appointments, at controlled prices, against payment of the basic fee or even free of charge to students.

APPOINTMENTS & OPERATING HOURS

General non-urgent family planning and maternal health consultations and nursing interventions must be scheduled directly with the Personalised Healthcare Unit of ACES Alentejo Central - UCSP Évora , the regional health authority in Portas de Aviz, on Rua Ferragial do Poço Novo in Évora.

Clinic| Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Wednesdays from 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Nursing | Mondays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Consultations for addictive behaviours and addiction  are available at the registered office of Instituto Português do Desporto e da Juventude  (IPDJ - Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth) located at 119 Rua da República, in Évora. Appointments must be scheduled either directly or by calling one of the following numbers: 266 009 800 or 266 737 500. In an emergency, you may also go directly to the IPDJ doctor’s office.
Consultations take place on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Urgent consultations with a general practitioner  can be scheduled in person at SAS - Social Support Division, Edifício de Santo Agostinho, Rua Duques de Cadaval, in Évora, by calling +351 266 740 800 - Ext.62111 or by sending an e-mail to the Division Secretariat at daa@sas.uevora.pt,  indicating the following information: full name, student number and telephone number .
