The Institute of Contemporary History is an FCT Unit - rated as Very Good in the latest international evaluation (2019) - with a center at the U.E., the Participating Institution, materialised in the Research Group (RG): CEHFCi of the U.E [Science Group - https://ihc.fcsh.unl.pt/grupos-de-investigacao/ciencia] in a transnational and comparative perspective of science networks with ties to the PhD in History and Philosophy of Science - Museology. The Research Group’s keywords:  Memory, society, heritage and innovation; History, territory and environment; Culture, identities and power; Material and visual culture; Biographies of objects and scientific spaces.
