University Sports
UÉ encourages its students to practise sports on two levels. On the one hand, it supports students who take part in any sports activities offered by Federação Académica de Desporto Universitário (FADU - Portuguese University Sports Academic Federation) and, on the other, it offers conditions for the regular practise of non-competitive physical activity.
The Social Action Department, Academic Association and the Department of Sports and Health all work together and are responsible for supporting university sport. These are some of the collective and individual sports supported by UÉ: Futsal | Handball | Volleyball | Rugby Sevens | Taekwondo | Swimming | Athletics | Triathlon | Chess | Table Tennis | Tennis | Orienteering | Bodyboarding | Mountain Biking | Golf | Water Polo
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
To take part in University Sport, you must have your academic situation in order, in accordance with the Academic Regulations of the University of Évora, and have a sports physical exam to confirm you are fit to practise the respective sport. All student athletes who meet the requirements will be covered by Article 75 of the Academic Regulations of the University of Évora.
