The University of Évora ensures free public access to several open and green spaces across its campuses. In the Évora Campus, multiple buildings include publicly accessible outdoor areas and courtyards with no gates, fees, or entry controls, allowing residents, visitors, and the academic community to use these spaces freely. Additionally, the University’s Herdade da Mitra provides extensive natural and agricultural open areas that are accessible to the public, as this rural estate has no controlled entrances or restrictions.
