ACCOMMODATION IN UNIVERSITY RESIDENCES
The university residences run by the UÉ Social Action Department offer accommodation for students enrolled in higher education at the University of Évora, giving SASUE bursary and scholarships students priority access to housing.
Beds required and needed for international students are reserved under the existing protocols, in particular the Student Mobility Programmes.
The seven university residences , which can house 527 students, are located across the city, all within easy and quick access to UÉ buildings, all offering study rooms, recreation rooms and fully equipped kitchens, free Wi-Fi, cleaning of the kitchens and common areas, and laundry service.
HOW TO APPLY
Every academic year, the process for application for accommodation in the SASUE university residences is carried out online through the UÉ SIIUE Portal.
The process is carried out in two phases:
1st phase – for students housed in the immediately preceding school year (from 15 May to 30 June);
2nd phase – for first-year UÉ students, registration and enrolment usually takes place in the registration and enrolment phase at the University of Évora (during the school year you can contact the SASUE).

As the places available in university residences are limited, students can also rent a room at a family home or a furnished apartment/house, sharing the rent with fellow students. Prices vary depending on the number of rooms, location and different rental conditions.
