Quality, certification and diversity
The University of Évora’s Social Action Department (SASUE) endeavours to ensure food quality and diversity. To this end, the SASUE works with a food quality company that carefully designs the menus, and ensures the quality of the ingredients used and compliance with HACCP legislation. All food units have adopted the Codex Alimentarius HACCP system, and the Luis Verney College and Pedro de Fonseca units are already APCER certified in health and food safety.
The UÉ Social Action Department runs nine food units, either directly or under concession, with a total seating capacity of 697. Located in the different UÉ campus buildings, menus are designed by nutritionists and adapted to the calorie intake recommended for the target age groups.
The five units directly operated by the SASUE offer different meal options, including vegetarian meals.
MEAL TICKETS
You can purchase meal tickets under the ‘Meals’ section of the SIIUE platform by selecting the ‘create current account’ option. You can add funds to the account through the MB Way payment service or directly at the treasury department.
