Course Overview

This master's degree establishes a close relationship between three fundamental pillars of any educational system: teaching, pedagogical supervision and educational evaluation. The study programme is designed on the basis of a holistic perspective of pedagogical supervision in articulation with educational evaluation/assessment and the teaching and learning process. The teaching process is seen in articulation with pedagogical assessment and learning.
Thus, this study programme is intended, fundamentally, to provide additional specialized training, supported by research, to educational agents who, in particular, exercise functions of coordination, supervision and evaluation in intermediate structures of kindergartens, primary and secondary schools and other valences of the educational system. As a result, it seeks to provide the regional and national education system with teacher trainers, pedagogical supervisors and evaluators to intervene, as teachers in education and teaching establishments, in their own self-training and in the initial and continuing training of teachers.
