Resumo
“Sustainable practices: a study of the pos-folklorism in Portugal in the 21st century” is a research project coordinated by Professor Rosário Pestana (U. Aveiro) and with the participation of the following Institutions: Universidade de Aveiro, Universidade de Évora, Instituto Politécnico do Porto, CRIA (Centro em Rede de Investigação em Antropologia) and CEI (Centro de Estudos Interculturais, ISCTE-IUL). The participation of the University of Evora in this research project, takes the form of an Intergenerational lab: encounters within musical traditions.
Objetivos, atividades e resultados esperados/atingidos
Objetivos
.The core aim of our Intergenerational Laboratory is to encourage, among university students and local communities, the activation of hidden forms of knowledge that have been invisible to public schools systems. Our laboratory will work with participatory research methods, aiming to give a voice to peoples’ worldview. Our research team and collaborators will be learning from within their own view. Our broad aim is to enhance peoples’ recollections, by exploring the self-assigned meanings of (tangible and intangible) memories of musical traditions.
