The Master of Chemistry at the University of Évora is part of a progressive training program that pursues to cover thematic areas of chemistry aligned with current societal challenges, increasingly in a context of sustainable development. Through a solid, versatile and dynamic pedagogical-scientific training, carried out in the context of research since the beginning of the curricular part and in research centers of excellence, it is intended to provide, to current and future professionals, knowledge in Chemistry applied, namely in the areas of health, materials, energy and the environment, which can help to respond appropriately to those challenges.
Competences will be ensured for the study and development of molecules and materials with potential applications in those important areas as well as for promoting the ability to carry out a scientific research project internationally accepted as of high quality and innovation. The skills acquired will enable students to enter the labor market as higher education and innovative professionals or to pursue studies at the 3rd cycle level.
