Course Overview

National and international statistics have been showing an increase in the prevalence of people in chronic conditions. Many of these people face complex and challenging barriers throughout their life cycle (childhood/adolescence, adulthood and old age), thus it is necessary to develop innovative models of person-centered care with an emphasis on self-care, aiming at more rigorous interventions with more effective results that contribute to the optimization, empowerment and autonomy of people in chronic situations.

Career Prospects

This postgraduate course aims to train nurses with advanced skills in complexity management, using an approach to new models of health care, relevant and personalized, supported by literacy, self-care, in order to increase the skills of self-management in health, satisfaction, the quality of life of people with multimorbidity.
