Course Overview

The postgraduate degree in Drug and Medical Device Life Cycles has in total 30 ECTS. However, students can complement their postgraduate lifelong education through short courses, such as Drug and Medical Device Life Cycles: From Development to Market Introduction (12 ECTS) or Drug and Medical Device Life Cycles: Market Introduction (15 ECTS). This postgraduate course will be carried out predominantly in an e-learning regime, with online sessions but also face-to-face session, in which the different phases of the drug and medical device life cycles will be addressed, from their development to their individual and collective use, not forgetting the environmental impact and patients' drugs or the border areas between and medical devices. Students will have the opportunity to get in touch with relevant external entities in the training area, for example, guest speakers and Seminar I and II curricular units.

Specific Entry Requirements

- Holders of the bachelor degree or legal equivalent (preferential criterion in the field of health or related areas);
- Holders a foreign academic degree dully recognised as satisfying the objectives identical to the bachelor degree by the relevant scientific body of the higher education institution they wish to be admitted to (preferential criterion in the field of health or related areas);
- Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum vitae that is recognized as attesting to the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies by the relevant scientific body of the higher education institution they wish to be admitted to.
