Aircraft Technology
Postgraduate Degree
Ano Letivo 2025/2026
Course Overview
Portugal is currently facing new and strategic challenges in the area of component design and manufacture for the aeronautics industry. Thus, specialized technicians in the production and maintenance of components for aircraft are in high demand. In particular, the skills required include automation, modeling and manufacturing.
Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal and Universidade de Évora have responded to this challenge through the creation the Aeronautical Technology Post-Graduation program, designed to provide engineering and/or technology professionals with the necessary skills to initiate or improve their performance on specialized functions in the aeronautical sector.
The main objective of the Post-Graduation is to provide skills in the area of manufacturing and maintenance of aeronautical structures. Specific objectives are the specialization of knowledge in materials, manufacturing processes, CAD / CAE / CAM tools, automation, and management methods specific to the aeronautics industry.
This program is aimed at master, graduate and bachelor degree holders in engineering or technology and medium and senior staff with relevant professional activity who need to develop skills in the area of manufacturing or maintenance of aeronautical structures.
