Course Overview

The Master in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science trains professionals able to respond to the labour market requests in this area that has the highest growth rate within Information Technologies. Training in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science responds to the current demands for business success in the most diverse areas, such as health, retail, finance, communications, logistics and transport, as well as in research, in companies and research laboratories. This training enables students to work in the most diverse applications such as natural language processing, image and video processing and structured data analysis. The main objective is to provide the students with solid knowledge in artificial intelligence and data science in order to have the skills to extract and analyse information from a large volume of data (Big Data), giving voice to that information, and using that knowledge, efficiently and sustainably, both in supporting decision-making and in the production of new products and services. It is also intended to be able to develop Artificial Intelligence ecosystems, in particular Machine Learning, that allow analysing this data.

The program trains professionals able to work as analysts and/or data scientists, and specialists in Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on Machine Learning, in companies and research laboratories, and in public or private entities such as technology companies, telecommunications, textiles, footwear , automotive, higher education, public administration, insurance, life and health sciences.

Access to Master Program can be done by students with 4 profiles: Informatics; Mathematics and Statistics; Economics/Management; Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, or equivalent.
