Mechatronic Engineering incorporates scientific concepts from mechanical, electrotechnical and computer engineering courses together with the relevant and useful practical skills for carrying out new roles in projects and for the production and maintenance of industrial processes and products.
With a 100% employability rate, this degree course is a bridge between the regional, national and international industry, enabling students to quickly become involved in research projects, providing networking and internship opportunities from the first year. It has been somewhat influenced by car part companies, namely the Évora multinational Tyco Electronics factory.
