Course Overview

This cycle of studies presents itself as a training offer with solid mathematical training in the subject areas of Mathematical Analysis, Dynamical Systems, Computational Methods, Differential Geometry, Probabilities, Statistics, Operations Research, Algebra, Logic and Geometry. In addition to the mathematical component, this study cycle counts on the occasional participation of the Departments of Physics, Informatics and Pedagogy and Education of the University of Évora. We seek to train mathematicians with the skills and competences to face contemporary challenges for the development of science and technology in the most varied scientific areas. This training offer will allow future Graduates in Mathematics from the University of Évora to continue their studies in Master's programs in Mathematics and Teaching in Mathematics in the 3rd cycle of Basic and Secondary Education, as well as various professional opportunities.
