It encouraged the development of independent thinking skills, decision-making, written and oral communication and teamwork. Knowledge that frames the economic relations between countries is developed, allowing insertion into economic entities and research. Specific competencies are based on concepts, theories and tools for policy analysis in economic relations, facilitating the evaluation of public policies.

Teaching Methods
Classes will have an expository component of the program and an applied component in which practical situations will be discussed. Some classes will be aimed at monitoring, presenting and discussing work and implementing the research component. Students are required to regularly dedicate a few hours to studying the bibliography and carrying out their own research on the subjects that make up the syllabus of this discipline.
Continuous assessment is privileged, based on three assessment moments (1 research work to be carried out in a group and 2 individual written tests, with a weighting of 40%, 30% and 30%, respectively). This consideration aims to encourage research work, attendance and active participation in the teaching/learning process. We try to develop research capabilities and stimulate interest in research.
