Objectives:
Obtain basic accounting notions and understand the financial statements of sports organizations Obtain management accounting, budget and management control concepts; Understand the design of sports projects, the needs of planning and management and sports projects; Know the main evaluation criteria of sports projects.
Skills:
When finishing the course students should be spayed to collect and interpret critically relevant scientific information on the topics discussed. Develop the ability to communicate, in oral and written form, organized in a coherent and logical way on this issue under the unit.

Teaching Methods
The unit is organized into lectures and tutorials according to the regulation school of the University of Évora.
Although it is a course where the theoretical aspects have much relevance try to present practical examples that allow a better understanding of matter. The sessions are supported by PowerPoint presentations but with use of the table for more practical issues. Several of supporting documentation will be available on Moodle (lessons,various texts, PowerPoint presentations, websites, etc) ..
With regard to the assessment, students can opt for the continuous assessment or examination by the regime.
