The postgraduate course in Health Care in the Transport of Patients, has as main objective to train health professionals, qualified to respond to the needs in health care, of increasingly demanding and challenging contexts. Students are expected to develop conceptual, instrumental and relational competencies, which are indispensable for health care in transporting patients in different contexts. The simulation, the technology and the different learning scenarios constitute strategies that allow to foment the learning and consolidation of the knowledge. The course has two semesters, the first of which are structural curricular units in the area of the course: Ethics, Research and Policies and Health Care Models. The second semester is dedicated exclusively to the theme of healthcare in the transport of patients. A protocol was established with Femédica, an accredited entity in the area of medical emergency.
