Postgraduate Degree

Course Overview

The aim of this Postgraduate Degree is to equip nurses and other healthcare professionals with the knowledge and tools to develop decision-making skills when providing care to people with wounds in different healthcare settings. The postgraduate course runs in collaboration with the Portuguese Wound Care Association – ELCOS and is accredited by the European Wound Management Association – EWMA.

Duration: 1 Semesters/30 ECTS credits (30 required and 0 optional in curricular units)
Language: Portuguese
Regime: Day and night classes

Career Prospects

The skills acquired during the program can be useful in health organization that provides care to people with injuries: General and Specialized Hospitals, public and private; Health centers; Medical and Nursing Clinics; National Network of Continued and Integrated Care.
