Course Overview

This study cycle was meant to give a solid background in sciences that will lead to a detailed knowledge on forest systems, as well as, in technologies in order to foresee these systems behavior on the long run. It also gives advanced training in integrated management, at different spatial scales, of multifunctional forest ecosystems. Such technical and scientific skills are suitable to intervene in the management of multifunctional forest systems of great complexity and importance, and will enable the Forest Engineering to conceive, to design and to develop, either individually or in team, management and planning tools of forest systems, namely the Mediterranean one´s.

Enterprises in the forest sector, forest producers associations, individual entrepreneurship public enterprises.

Specific Entry Requirements

Candidates must hold a 1st Cycle degree in Forestry Engineering or in a related area such as Agronomy, Biology, Environment Sciences or Earth Sciences.
