Presentation
This unit intends to accompany the development of the investigative path of each Master's student, leading to the elaboration of the dissertation, guiding them in specific methodologies and in the improvement of their hermeneutic, analytical, critical and expository skills.

II. MONITORING OF THE VARIOUS PROJECTS OF DISSERTATION
NB: The follow-up of the Master's students in fulfilment of their Dissertation projects will be ensured by
their Advisors, primarily.

II. MONITORING OF THE VARIOUS PROJECTS OF DISSERTATION
NB: The follow-up of the Master's students in fulfilment of their Dissertation projects will be ensured by
their Advisors, primarily.
Teaching Methods
Main methods:
a) Exposure;
b) Analysis of methodologies of philosophical work;
c) Written and oral preparatory exercises
There is a minimum attendance of 75% of the classroom sessions.
The assessment has five components: a written presentation of an initial work plan for the final monograph
- 10%; the written submission of a final monograph project - 10%; oral presentation to the seminar
members of the monograph project - 20%; attendance and level of participation in classroom sessions -
10%; monograph and his defense - 50%.
Given the special nature of this seminar, it is discouraged the choice of the evaluation process by final
examination. However, if necessary, it is considered indispensable the final philosophical monograph
(50%) and his oral defense before the jury of the CU (50%).
