Sustainable Development Goals
Learning Goals
Lead the student to assimilate and operate with the great structuring modes of philosophical thought offered by the contemporary encyclopedia of currents, schools and authors, which constitute models of rationality, understanding and intellection recurrent in the theoretical and cultural discourse of the human sciences and of other knowledge.
Enable the student to operate with these thought matrices in the reality of today's world, namely:
- Be able to trace the various fields of relevant current issues
- Select the conceptual tools that best allow the analysis of the current period and its challenges
- Apply these conceptual tools to contemporary issues.
The student will address four topics (renewable annually from an extensive list), comprising a cross-sectional historical topic (currents) and three topics centered on the authorial brand (its theoretical unit and its thematic and conceptual constellation).

Teaching Methods
Theoretical exposition (supported by digital resources) and practical textual analysis, focused on anthological selections carefully compiled by the professors (in addition to the titles indicated in the bibliography), as a privileged basis for acquiring a simultaneously in-depth and panoramic view of the contemporary encyclopedia of theories, concepts, themes, trends and authors; and as a platform for their joint exploration through debate. Written and videographic material.
The use of polyteaching has the virtue of enhancing the concentration and specialization of each teaching module, while at the same time sensitizing to the diversity of ways of thinking, inherent to the objectives and contents of the discipline.
Continuous assessment, preferably, based on attendance and participation in classes (20%) and written assignments of various types, to be distributed among all modules that make up the discipline (4 x 20%). Alternatively, final written test (exam, 100%).
