Teaching Methods
The UC integrates a general educational training component of the course and has a reflective and critical vocation. The methodology used in this UC aims at theoretical knowledge of the contents, based the most relevant thinkers, along with the application of these theoretical contents to the critical analysis of concrete and real situations, within the range of dimensions prescribed by the official curriculum. There are, therefore, several methodologies convened: expository moments, open dbebates, documentary research with or without field data collection and exposition of results on these issues.
Working groups will be set up to distribute topics that must be investigated, presented and discussed. Naturally, priority will be given to those dimensions whose articulation with the scientific areas of training is more indirect and, therefore, more naturally articulated with the students' teaching practice, such as the environment and sustainability, health education, sexuality and gende

Assessment
By virtue of EU academic regulation, the UC has both continuous assessment and final assessment. In the final assessment, the exam consists of a test of theoretical knowledge regarding the concepts listed in the list of contents, based on the bibliographical references listed and a part more focused on the master's students' critical analysis skills, where they will have to propose and defend a strategy didactics related to one of the dimensions of education for citizenship identified in the programme.
Continuous assessment has a group component consisting of a small investigation (documentary or even with field data) on one of the EC themes and its presentation and discussion in the class, and another individual component, which consists of the production of a written text , reflection on your own group work, or another one that interests you more and negotiate with the teacher.
