This degree course has three specific features that make it a groundbreaking course in the field: it innovatively combines fundamental training in philosophy with advanced studies in contemporary technology-scientific and artistic-cultural fields, its practical component promotes the effective insertion of students in the essence of cultural life in the world heritage city throughout the three years of the course, and it fosters critical and reflective literacy capable of sustaining creative design in different cultural projects in collaboration with a partner network of cultural organisations, under an agreement established between the organisations and the University of Évora. The university's programme enhances interdisciplinary studies, ensures constant academic monitoring of the training pathway, acts as a bridge between the corporate and social worlds, drives development in the region, encompasses two anchor areas - heritage and communication, and focuses on encouraging internationalisation.
