Sustainable Development Goals
Learning Goals
Provide theoretical-practical references in the scope of design, focusing on the design of transport, through the use of concepts, tools and methods of the area.
Development of the analytical capacity and critical sense of the student considering the domain of the conception based on functional, symbolic and aesthetic criteria. Development of research skills and fundamentals, based on the different methodological phases of the design project, following concepts supported by the investigation of social, economic and ecological factors.
- Explore project design capabilities considering the technological reality of the transport industries.
- Explore and enhance the quality of design solutions within the methodological, conceptual and operational practice of transport design.
- To develop the capacity for problem analysis and response in an approach to the reality of the transport design sector.

Teaching Methods
Classes will be held to share and discuss knowledge and through the promotion of debates about the issues
addressed in each class. Launching and monitoring of a Design exercise centred in the area of transportation
production and systems associated to it.
The evaluation is mixed by being punctuated during the semester by classes dedicated to periodic evaluations and, at the end of the semester, by the final evaluation of results by a Jury.
Assiduity: 10%
Intermediary Evaluation: 50%
Final Work: 40%
