4. To acquire the ability to analyze cultural aspects and their relationship with the historical and social realities of the English-speaking countries;

6. To carry out academic tasks showing an awareness of diversity of cultural heritage, human rights, and the avoidance of inequality and discrimination.

Teaching Methods

The teaching methodologies are tuned with the Pedagogic Model of the degree, focusing on the pedagogic innovation of field work and construction of materials. These methodologies allow students do develop transversal competences, which are founded in the consciousness of the diversity of the contemporary world, namely the Anglophone. They also provide students the necessary tools for a constant adjustment to an always changing contemporaneity, contributing for a critical awareness about their lifelong learning development in order to adjust to the needs of further education and knowledge.

Continuous Assessment: 2 individual works – 40%+60%
Final Assessment: written exam – 100%
