Education is a human action that mediates between the world we inhabit and the world we aspire to inhabit. It turns out that while the world we inhabit is, the worlds to inhabit are multiple possibilities to choose. It is a matter of trying to discover the reasons that make some preferable to others

Teaching Methods

The UC starts with a set of four sessions of an expository type in order to define of concepts and establish a general framework of the theme. Of course, expository does not at all imply closed to dialogue and discussion.
Master's students will organize themselves in groups of two. Each group will analyze and expose, in a session reserved for the purpose, an antinomy among those listed in the contents (or another that they suggest)
The remaining sessions, will follow the seminar methodology to address the remaining themes. It is up to the teacher to contribute to the discussions with the “memory of past discussions” and the possible syntheses.

Continuous Evaluation:
1. presentation of a group theme 50% of the final evaluation
2. Elaboration of a “field notebook” for reading notes and daily reflections. It will include the extended summaries of the sessions (%) 50%

Final evaluation:
Written exam 100%
