Sustainable Development Goals
Learning Goals
This curricular unit deepens the theme of spatial qualities of the subject in architecture project, due to acquired
knowledge in the set of curricular units taught in the 1º cycle. We deepen the approach to the project
integrating specifically the spatial qualities of the subject which composes it. Will be accomplished one
exercise, from a complex program, that must represent the first real approach to the project while articulated
set of different complementary approaches.
Objectives:
1. Introduce the issue of advance research in architecture
2. Introduce complex architectural programs
3. Introduce ability of critical observation and constructive analysis
4. Consolidate the issue of spatial qualities of matter
5. Introduce the issue of construction technology
6. Develop architectural drawing skiils and theoretical thought about the project

Teaching Methods
Lessons will be taught in practical and laboratorial system, with a total of 12 hours weekly contact, more 6
tutorial attendance hours. The programmatic contents will be introduced by the teacher through classes with
audiovisual support, lectures, study visits and individual attendance, or in groups, of the students work. The
exercises will be developed in class, under the teachers guidance.
Evaluation is ruled only by continuous evaluation system, resulting on attendance of the students work along
the semester, and will be achieved based on demonstration of dominion of taught contents. The students must
assist, mandatorily, to 60% of the classes, to be able to get approval in the curricular unit.
