It is intended that students will be able to:
1. Know current trends in the international panorama of trade flows in goods, services and productive factors
2. Promote understanding of the major themes that condition relationships between different nations in the global context
2. Promote understanding of the positioning of the main international economic organizations in defining rules and behavioral standards between different regional spaces
4. Encourage understanding of the role of the Economic Integration process in an international system dominated by the forces of Globalization;

It is also intended that students develop skills:

Teaching Methods

The evaluation standards for this course are as follows:
i) Students may opt for the Continuous Assessment (Preferred) or the Examination scheme.
ii) The system of Continuous Assessment presupposes making 4 tests, lasting 1 hour each.
iii) In the scheme of examination the final grade matches the grade obtained in the examination

Assessment

In accordance with the decisions taken by the Assembly of the Department of Economics and the Undergraduate Course Committee in International Relations, and considering the Academic Regulations, the assessment standards for this subject are as follows:
i) Students may choose the Continuous Assessment regime (preferred) or the Final Assessment regime.
ii) The Continuous Assessment regime presupposes the completion of 2 assessment tests, which can be exams or research work, with a weight of 50% each.
iii) In the Final Assessment regime, the grade corresponds to that obtained in the final exam of the normal or appeal season.
