Sustainable Development Goals
Learning Goals
It is expected that students acquire knowledge in a wide range of relevant developments in Chemistry, Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering, which allows them to obtain an integrated view of the different applications of Chemistry and to extend their perception of the importance of chemistry for our society, in an interdisciplinary perspective that contributes to better understand the role of research in the sustainable development of societies.
Contents
Learning concepts, methodologies and applications of Chemistry from a research and development perspective.
The students will attend invited seminars on scientific topics and projects of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering and develop a small research project, in group, on a recent theme of their choice.

Teaching Methods
Teaching learning in the context of research seminars allows the student to contact with cutting-edge approaches, in addition the personal contact with specialists in the area, contribute to develop solid skills in the field of chemistry and its applications.
Students will integrate into teams where they will carry out a research project based on solving a problem. A written report and a panel to be presented publicly will be prepared from the work carried out.
The final classification should be calculated by the average of the written report (60%) and the public presentation of the panel (40%).
