Objectives accordingly the Artº 28 of the DL 157/2018.
Contents
Concepts, methodologies and techniques transmitted in a laboratorial environment, data analysis and problem solving through the development of a small project in the field of biochemistry (biochemistry and heritage, agriculture / agri-food, health and well-being and the environment). Students will be part of research teams where they will carry out a small individual work project based on solving a specific problem, within the scope of the research carried out by that team.
Teaching Methods
The Teaching Learning of concepts, methodologies and experimental techniques in laboratory environment, in the research context. This curricular unit is exclusively tutorial. The individual student work represents almost the time devoted to curricular unit. The preparation of the work is carried out under supervision.
Students will integrate research teams and carry out a project based on solving a concrete problem, within the framework of the research carried out by that team.
In these units, students will develop research and/or attend short courses on the scientific aspects and experimental methodologies to use in your project. In addition, should develop some experimental work, in order to contribute to the resolution of the problem.
Assessment methods: Written essay with the results previously obtained and a public presentation and discussion. The evaluation result will consist in Approved or Unsatisfactory.
