Learning Goals

General objectives:
The aim of the classes is to provide theoretical and practical references in the field of communication design with a focus on multimedia, namely in the normalization and finalization of interactive brands for hypermedia applications and to explore empirical stimuli within the visual perception associated with this discipline. It is also intended to develop the analytical and critical sense capabilities.
Competences:
The student will have to be able to provide a professional response to an intermediate level in the field of Communication Design project in which the main vector of development of the project lies in the design of interfaces for hypermedia applications of the product brand or service.

Contents

1. Manuals and Applications for digital and analogue brand:
Brand toolkit: logo; colors; source. imaginary; Principles of Design.
Applications: interactive application; presentations; stationary; promotion; advertising. 2. Paging of manuals for distribution in PDF.
3. Finalization and preparation of materials for application in printing and screen.

Teaching Methods

The contact hours, theoretical and practical, will be taught by thematic modules with insertion of topics to be discussed. The typology of projects is essentially practical. The evaluation is continuous with intermediate assessments and, at the end of the semester, the final evaluation in a jury model.

EVALUATION

In the NORMAL SEASON assessment students may choose one of two schemes: Continuous or Final Assessment.

1. CONTINUOUS EVALUATION SCHEME

Evaluation Components:
a) Class participation: 20%;
b) Work developed during the period with the accompaniment of the teacher, which must be submitted, at least, to a periodic evaluation with public disclosure of the classifications: 40%;
c) Presentation and defense of the work developed during the classes, which occurs during the "Regular Season Evaluations": 40%.


2. FINAL EVALUATION SCHEME

a) Work developed during the period with the teacher's accompaniment: 40%;
b) Examination based on the contents taught: 60%.
