The R&D context stimulates and encourages new experiences for UX users with a focus on interaction IxD and related content. The pretext should be an operative contribution to areas of culture and productive entertainment.

Learning Goals

The general learning objectives promote the development of speculation and experimentation skills (critical observatory and laboratory digital artifacts).
The knowledge, skills and competences developed at a high level of complexity and apply in processes of investigation and experimentation in interaction design (IXD).
a. Being able to try out several research itineraries to explore new situations, particular interaction environments (IxD) and user experience (UX);
b. Knowing to question and be able to find the answers;
c. Knowing to transform information into knowledge;
d. Being able to understand and interpret the social and cultural phenomena of transformation; e. Being able to experiment with new concepts of interaction and evaluate your chance;
f. Prepare to be innovative.

Contents

The knowledge, skills and competences to be acquired are developed to a high level of complexity and will be a reflection of learning, whose pedagogical strategy focuses on interaction design (IxD) and interface design (UI), focusing on the innovative concept and user experience (UX).
Syllabus oriented to subject(s) and project(s) to develop: 1. Research in interaction design;
2. Innovation in future scenarios;
3. New realities and trends;
4. Micro-niches with high potential opportunity; 5. Interaction Lab.

Teaching Methods

Are privileged the active methods to enhance the involvement, interest, analysis and critical capacity of students.

EVALUATION

In the NORMAL SEASON assessment students may choose one of two schemes: Continuous or Final Assessment.

1. CONTINUOUS EVALUATION SCHEME

Evaluation Components:

a) Class participation: 20%;
b) Work developed during the period with the accompaniment of the teacher, which must be submitted, at least, to a periodic evaluation with public disclosure of the classifications: 40%;
c) Presentation and defense of the work developed during the classes, which occurs during the "Regular Season Evaluations": 40%.

2. FINAL EVALUATION SCHEME

a) Work developed during the period with the teacher's accompaniment: 40%;
b) Examination based on the contents taught: 60%.
