Sustainable Development Goals

Learning Goals

The curricular unit aims to provide the student with theoretical-practical knowledge in the field of lighting design, through the exploitation of concepts, tools and design methods intrinsic to this area.
- Stimulate the apprehension of theoretical knowledge related to the history, technologies and materials of lighting design;
- Enhance the potential of the design process through the introduction to the methodological, conceptual and operative design practice.
- Explore the student's abilities at design design level, considering the specific universe of the lighting industry.
- Provide the student with knowledge that will allow him / her to approach the reality of work regarding the design project, aimed at the lighting sector.
