Learning Goals

- Continuation of the development of knowledge, skills and competences acquired in the previous curriculum
unit.
- Deepening of technical capabilities and operating procedures in order to develop a custom graphics language
centered on the human body.
- Reflection on the objectivity and poetic of drawing by the drawing process itself.
- Learning methodologies of research through drawing reflection and experimentation.
- Documentation of the creative process.
- Study of body drawing throughout the history of art and reflection about the role of the artist as cultural agent
that creates a critical discourse.

Contents

In-depth study of drawing language:
- Spports and the graphic instruments:
- Structural Elements;
- Operating modes;
- Conceptual Instruments;
- Capacity of graphic recording of the head and hands, self-representation and understanding of the canons
regarding the human figure throughout the history of the drawing.
- To develop a technique and operative of expressive and rigorous representation of the human body in static
poses and moving poses as the basis for 2D and 3D animation;
- Fast poses; lines of force of movement; attitude drawings; model sheets (drawing of the characters from various
angles); character creation - physical and psychological (color).

Teaching Methods

The program consists of a series of exercises, essentially practical, previously scheduled and complemented
with theoretical presentations, audio-visual media, study-visits, conferences and references, whenever necessary.
The assessment will be given by the student’s work done in response to the proposed exercises, to is attendance,
participation, motivation, commitment, capacity of communication, as well as his evolution taking in
consideration the level of experimentation, reflective autonomy, critical, technical, imaginative and creative
capacity of the student.
During the semester there will be continuous evaluation tests and a final evaluation. In the final evaluation the
students are evaluated by a jury composed by the teacher of the course and other teachers of the course, who
will appreciate the work developed globally and assign a final quantitative classification.

Standard Season (Continuous Assessment + Final Assessment)
Continuous Assessment (60%)
• 50% attendance
• 50% exercises made by the student on different small circuits (made during class)
Final Assessment (40%)
• Jury evaluation.
