Teaching Methods
The CU is organized so that each practical problem-solving session is preceded by the corresponding
theoretical lecture. Between one lecture and the next, students will need to refine their understanding of
the topic previously dealt with in theoretical terms, and apply the newly acquired knowledge to the
completion of a small assignment. The problem-solving lectures will take the form of case-studies focus
through which students will design, develop and implement research that aims to solve specific
companies concrete problems. The case study will be related both to each of the CUs topics and to the
specific student interests.
Assessment will be made on the basis of 3 individual essays with equal weight in the final grade.
