The activities to be developed in the classroom, as well as in the form of autonomous work, are part of the teaching, assessment and learning processes, leading students to an active participation and thus to occupy a central place in the learning processes. The participation of experts in emerging themes is foreseen, to deepen and enrich the training and their singularities. The tasks to be developed involve students in communicational and collaborative work processes, such as research, project development, document analysis and reflection, to be carried out individually and in groups, in coherence with what is recommended for teaching in the framework of current legislation that guides the dynamics of organization and functioning of schools in Portugal.

Assessment

The assessment process takes into account the University of Évora regulations, including a regime of continuous assessment and a regime of final assessment.

Continuous assessment regime: the assessment is integrated in the teaching and learning, playing a regulatory function. It occurs throughout the semester, continuously, through the completion of tasks of various kinds, individual and group. The final mark will be obtained from the completion of 3 tasks (T) of analysis and critical reflection of documents relating to the topics covered, also taking into account the oral presentation associated with the tasks (AO) and the participation of students (P). CF= 60% T + 30% (AO) + 10% (P)

Final assessment regime: students who opt for this regime perform a written test (PE) and an oral presentation (AO), in work similar to that developed in the continuous assessment regime:

The final classification of the UC will be obtained: CF = 80% PE + 20% (AO).
