At this stage, it is intended that students will explore the procedures and evaluation instruments, so that in future may operate monitoring procedures scientifically based training. Through practical work, will also emphasized the step of analyzing the results and established the "bridge " to the exercise prescription.
Thus, it is intended:
- Deepen the fundamentals of assessment and monitoring of sports training;
- Mastering the methodologies and tools for evaluating the Sports Performance;
- Analyze and interpret assessment results;
- Understand the consequences of evaluation of performance in the exercise prescription.

Teaching Methods

The classes take place throughout the second Semester, once a week. Each will last one hundred and twenty minutes, under continuous evaluation.
It is required the use of sports equipment in practical classes.
The student assessment can be done through two processes:
Continues Evaluation
For the student to obtain approval in the continuous assessment process must meet the following requirements:
- Obtain final rating equal to or greater than 9.5 on the task of evaluating the proposal;
- Comply with 75% attendance in classes provided.
Practical work (experimental)
Final Evaluation
The final evaluation process includes a final evaluation theory and practice, where the student will process, analyze and interpret data from a practical assessment. The student must achieve grade equal to or greater than 9.5 in the written final exam to get approval for the course.
