Learning Goals

Objective: To structure a work plan (descriptive report) that will allow to elaborate a thesis as an individual research work original and feasible, under normal conditions (full time)
Skills: reflection on the construction of the questions around Research, to which are associated theories, methodologies and relevant data to build a scientific argument. Academic writing; independent research work and in group context.

Teaching Methods

The students will receive individual tutorial support, particularly provided by their supervisor(s), and will be expected to participate in supervision sessions and scientific meetings in their area of expertise.

Assessment

The evaluation of this course unit (Qualitative) should be carried out through the assessment of the student's work on their thesis, the fulfillment of the objectives and schedule proposed in their thesis plan, the preparation of scientific publications, and the presentation of work at conferences and scientific meetings related to the ongoing research.
