Sustainable Development Goals

Learning Goals

This course introduces some basic concepts and principles related to classical mechanics (Newtonian
mechanics and fluid mechanics), thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, optics and acoustics. The
theoretical and theoretical-practical teaching will be complemented by carrying out laboratory work.
These contents will provide a better understanding and description of the natural world, allowing the
resolution of practical problems, and articulating the scientific and technological knowledge in an
interdisciplinary perspective.

Teaching Methods

Lectures: presentation and discussion of the contents listed in the syllabus.
Practical classes: support the learning introduced in lectures by solving exercises and problems
Laboratory classes: laboratory experiments that complement the content taught in lectures and practical
classes.
The final course grade is made up of two parts, which are weighted as: 0.70 (theory and problems) + 0.30
(laboratory)
