Sustainable Development Goals
Learning Goals
1. To understand the phenomenon of aging and longevity using a multidimensional perspective;
2. To recognize how different scientific fields can contribute to addressing the challenges inherent in population aging, including defining strategies and measures that prolong individuals' adaptive capacity and quality of life while respecting individuality;
3. To identify the main processes involved in physiological, biological, perceptual, cognitive, and psychosocial aging;
4. To comprehend the importance of adopting healthy lifestyles, including physical exercise and integrative approaches, cognitive stimulation, dietary habits, and socialization stimulation;
5. To be familiar with the latest research projects in the field conducted within the university context;
6. To relate the topics covered to personal experiences and/or professional practice, interests, and the student's research.

Teaching Methods
A student-centered teaching model, with active pedagogical strategies, making the relationships between the curriculum and its applicability to realworld problems and research implicit. Theoretical-practical seminars, composed of reflection and critical analysis (individual or group) after oral exposure, reading articles/supporting texts, or watching videos related to the programmatic content. Integration of teaching and research, promoting R&D projects and encouraging student participation in them.
Assessment
Regarding the evaluation: Elaboration, presentation, and discussion of a research/intervention project based on the intersection between the contents covered and the student's specific scientific/professional area. The assessment will be qualitative (Approved/Not Approved).
