This course aims to present current knowledge and future perspectives in the area of biochemistry and molecular biotechnology. It is intended that students acquire fundamental knowledge in this area and apply them in the design of new strategies for intervention in health and environment. Be able to analyze and discuss scientific work and plan small research projects in a problem-solving approach.

Teaching Methods

1. Theoretical exposition

2. Preparation and presentation of thematic monograph in the form of a public poster.

3. Elaboration of real problem-solving project, in the theoretical program areas with presentation and discussion.

The evaluation will include the evaluation of the Monograph (50%) and the Project Work (50%). These may be submitted during the term under continuous assessment or during the final assessment under the final assessment scheme.
