• Monitor the thesis work already done by the student;
• Lead the student to present his/her work in conferences;
• Lead the student to participate in seminars and/or conferences;
• Lead the student to publish one article in the Working Paper Series of CEFAGE or in a peer-reviewed scientific journal.

Teaching Methods
The grade in this unit is Pass/Not Pass. In order to get a Pass degree the student has to satisfy the following conditions:
• To participate in at least 6 seminars of the Seminar Series of CEFAGE (or in conferences with the approval of the PhD program commission);
• To present a communication in a conference with the approval of the PhD program commission;
• To publish an paper in the Working Paper Series of CEFAGE or in a peer-reviewed scientific journal.
