Learning Goals

The general learning objectives promote the development of experimental, representation, analysis, synthesis
capabilities, and of reflexive autonomy and operating capacity, through observation and the interpretation of
reality and of conceptual, and material models.
The acquisition of knowledge, skills and competencies progressively progress to a level of intermediate complexity
and are adjusted according to the process of artistic research and experimentation.

c. Know how to interpret and reinterpret references, processes and methods;
d. Formulate and propose in a correct and articulated way the ideas;

Contents

The knowledge, skills and competences to be achieved develop at a level of intermediate complexity and will
reflect the degree of learning, The knowledge, skills and competences to be achieved are developed at a level of
intermediate complexity and will reflect the degree of learning, whose pedagogical strategy focuses on the areas
of painting and sculpture, with particular emphasis on interconnection based on contemporary plastic trends.
Syllabus oriented to the themes to be developed:
1 - Technical, plastic and critical research in Plastic Arts;
2 - New approaches and aesthetic trends;
3 - Operative means of sculptural and pictorial language: Operative means of sculptural and pictorial language:
material and conceptual;
3.1. Materials: non-conventional materials, supports and instruments;
3.2. Conceptual: the senses, the memory and the imagination;
4. Structural elements of sculptural and pictorial language: volume, shape, scale, weight, proportion balance,
tension, deformation texture, color, direction, light / shadow, positive / negative, concave / convex, universal /
particular;
5. Non-conventional artistic materials;
6. Assemblage.

Teaching Methods

Active methods that contribute and reinforce students' involvement, analysis, elaboration and critical capacity through: debates; individual monitoring; theoretical framework exhibitions; audiovisual, iconographic and bibliographic communication material; workshops; field trips.

EVALUATION

In NORMAL SEASON students can choose one of two schemes: Continuous or Final Assessment.

1. CONTINUOUS EVALUATION
a) Participation in classes: 20%;
b) Work developed during the period of classes with the accompaniment of the teacher, who must be submitted, at least, to a periodic evaluation with public disclosure of the classifications: 40%;
c) Presentation and defense of the work developed during classes, which takes place in the "Normal Season Assessments" period: 40%.

2. FINAL EVALUATION
a) Work developed during the period of classes with the professor's accompaniment: 40%;
b) Conducting a test based on the content taught: 60%.
