Teaching Methods

In the theoretical issues, it is the exposure of the themes, appealing to students' prior knowledge and the transferability to situations in their future professional reality. In the practical component, followed by independent research methodologies and communication training, presentation of papers with the group. There is scope for community intervention, with strong know-how in preventing smoking. The assessment includes these three fields: a written test (knowledge) - 50 %; evaluating the content, resource produced and communication (oral presentation) - 15%, peer evaluation (community intervention) - 35%.
