The Specific Didatics for Specialist Music Training I focus on the specificity of vocational education in music: the private lesson, small ensemble lesson and large ensemble lesson, in articulation with a basic division of three proficiency levels of vocational education in music, this course overall objectives are the exploration of the specificities inherent in teaching each specific area, as a way to promote critical reflection, discussion, and full differentiation of each specific areas. In this sense, it is aimed to develop and promote the artistic identity of the individual in articulation with the profile and professional activity in the field of education:
- Technical and historical knowledge of the specific area;
- Awareness of the subjects difficulties;
- Specific teaching methodologies.

Contents
This course will address the following topics according to each specific area of teaching:
- Principles and problems of teaching music classes;
- Study and performance in the classroom;
- Methodologies and cultures of teaching in each vocational area:
(a) past, (b) present, and (c) prospects for the future.
- Creativity in art education and its role in vocational education of music.
- Principles and problems of teaching music classes;

Teaching Methods
- Classroom environment replicating the future professional context
- Theoretical presentation of the exercises to develop
- Analysis and discussion of the studies and exercises to develop (their goals and resolution of difficulties)
- Practical exercises of the proposed studies
- Proposition of new technical tools for teaching in the specific area of teaching
Continuous evaluation:Attendance: 20%
- Interactive participation in classes: 20%
- Written work 1 and its presentation in the classroom: 30%
- Written work 2 and its presentation in the classroom: 30%
Final Evaluation: Written test: 100%
