Teaching Methods

A variety of methods will be used, according to the characteristics of the group of students and the complexity of the topics to be developed. However, all methodologies will be student-centered, thus requiring active student participation. Thus, we will use the expository and demonstrative method, followed by group discussion; discussion of clinical cases, real or simulated; analysis and discussion of various documents (e.g., films, books, paintings); simulation and role-play, with video recording as material for hetero- and self-analysis.
Whenever appropriate, E-Learning systems will be used.
Assessment Strategies
The student may choose either continuous assessment or final assessment.
Continuous assessment:
Proactive attendance at contact sessions, including simulation and roleplay sessions - 20%.
Elaboration and analysis of clinical cases with identification of foci - 20%
Evaluation by attendance - 60%
Final Assessment:
Written exam - 100%
