Teaching Methods

Teaching includes theoretical sessions focusing on presentations (e.g. PowerPoint), document exploration and thematic discussion. Also includes practical sessions where students experience assessment instruments and protocols designed to older adults without and with pathologies, psychomotor therapeutic methods and practices, as well as conceive and operationalize therapeutic tasks. Additionally, are created conditions to students experience these practices with invited older adults - in classroom and / or tutorial guidance. The use of the moodle platform is relevant.
The UC evaluation includes the practical work requested in and a written test.
CONTINUOUS EVALUATION requires>or= 9.5 values in the practical evaluation (50%) and in the theoretical evaluation (50%).
The FINAL EVALUATION requires>or=9.5 values in the practical evaluation transiting from the continuous evaluation (50%) and in the theoretical exam (50%).
